Plenty of bowling alleys feature entertainment, as we often see TV lounges, music arcades, and similar attractions. But Boardwalk Entertainment Center in Orlando is the only one we’ve seen that offers Glow-In-the-Dark mini golf on site. You can test your luck on a nine hole layout that features a variety of cool lights and effects.
All of these alternative offerings don’t take a way from the experience on the lanes, however, as the center features a staggering 80 lanes. You could get in a complete aerobic workout simply by jogging from one side of the alley to the other in between games.
Other Attractions
The attractions don’t even stop with the mini golf course. Coasters Sports Pub and “Bonkerz” Comedy Club also operate on the premises. This Bowling and Entertainment Center has more to do than many smaller towns!
Despite this family-friendly atmosphere and the numerous gimmicks not related to bowling, it still attracts some incredibly skilled bowlers and offers several competitive leagues.
The lane’s official website’s honor roll page lists numerous bowlers who have rolled a 300 game on site, as well as two who finished with the heartbreaking 299. Clint Roth, in addition to being in the 300 club, also put together an amazing 814 series.
The alley also offers a pretty sharp looking website, offers 2 free games of bowling to those who join their email list, and they even have a a social media presence with a Facebook page.
All in all, you could probably spend several days inside the Boardwalk Bowl and Entertainment Center and not get bored; there’s just that much to do.
