Frames is the new name for what used to be known as Leisure Time Bowl, but the change is far from a shift in values.
Upscale Atmosphere
The atmosphere is very high-class and there are all of the modern luxuries you would ever want at a bowling alley. Frames also advertises itself as one of the hottest dance clubs in the city, which is a pretty big deal when we remember we’re talking about Midtown Manhattan, not some dinky little town.
The party goes late into the night, so you can get your night out in NYC experience without ever having to stop bowling. They have big flat-screen TVs, a high-tech sound system and even plush leather seats to ensure you get the most leisure possible.
Not Just a Burger and Beer Here
Frames offers much more than your usual bowling alley food, as they have an upscale bistro on site with a ton of high-class options. They even plan to unveil an updated menu shortly.
A Place to Do Some Business?
The atmosphere is appropriate for getting together with business colleagues for a few drinks, and some big deals might even get made among strikes and spares. Businesses and organizations can also take advantage of the many event and party packages offered; they even offer a VIP area which will put you out of the public eye and give you all the services you’d want.
The official website also screams class. There’s an attractive slideshow showcasing some of the upscale nice cocktails you can enjoy and they boast that they are about to unveil their “Adult Party Packages.” They are also starting to build a social media presence, as they have tweeted ten times from their new account.
When you’re in the mood for leisure, who says you can’t roll a few “Frames?”

Frames does not have a pro shop on location, as it is a much more entertainment, nightclub style bowling atmosphere and a little less focused on competitive bowling.

Brunswick is an industry leader, but in addition, many other alleys, both large and small, will have a pro shop on site. So if you find an alley that looks interesting you might want to call them up to ask.
