The alley has plenty of fans, including bowler Cody Dean, who wrote to us to strongly recommend Mt. Hood Lanes. The alley also played a strong role in his personal bowling development:
I have bowled here for almost 4 years now. I thought bowling was just for old people and turns out I was wrong. It’s for anyone looking to have fun. And there is no better place to bowl than Mt. Hood Lanes.
I bowled my first league there when I was 17. The league was called Design-A-Ball. I got my first plastic ball after this league, then on Christmas of 2010 I got the biggest surprise of my life. I got my first reactive ball: Tropical Storm. Now I bowl there every day, and I love it.
I decided to join the league my dad was in. I bowled alright. Then all of a sudden we were voting for League Officers and I was elected Vice President, and now don’t forget this is all while I bowled at Mt. Hood Lanes.
I bowled the Oregon State Open Tournament this year and I did awesome. I used to work at Mt Hood Lanes too.
I go to these guys for bowling advice; they will help anyone out. If you’re a rookie, first time bowler, a full-time bowler or just looking to have fun with your friends or family, this is the place to go. I highly, strongly, whatever word there is, I recommend you come to Mt Hood Lanes.
They also have this Kids Bowl Free deal if you sign your child up and follow all the steps your child can bowl two free games all summer long. Mt. Hood Lanes had the most kids sign up from them in 2011.
This is a great environment. Doug Greenlee and his staff are awesome. And you can also check out Rich Lorey at the Pro Shop as well. I recommend going to Mt Hood Lanes.
