Sunrise Lanes in Casper, Wyoming has great bowling, but its other features threaten to steal the show. The Prime Time Restaurant and Caputa’s Pizzeri serve up some of the best food in the area, including burgers and pizzas that feature hand-rolled crust and a whole pound of cheese. Other favorites include rocky mountain oysters, fish bites, and a wide variety of beers and mixed drinks.
The restaurant also offers a challenge known as Katie’s Tongue Transplant in which you must eat 10 hot wings in 10 minutes before waiting another 10 minutes without going to the bathroom or having anything to drink.
In addition to the food and drink, Sunrise Lanes offers one of the largest bowling pro shops in the state of Wyoming, in case you are in the market for your own bowling ball or other bowling equipment.
In addition to these great other attractions, Sunrise Lanes has an awful lot to offer on the lanes as well. There is Cosmic bowling on Friday nights with black lights and a laser light show and “high-energy music.”
Saturday nights feature a special known as Monte Carlo Madness, in which bowlers enjoy a special rate for three hours of unlimited bowling and a host of bonus offers including give-aways and prizes. If you plan to participate on Saturdays, it’s recommended to call ahead for a reservation.
Other impressive specials on bowling at Sunrise Lanes include a Kids Summer Bowling Pass, which entitles the holder to two games of bowling every day during the summer.
Sunrise Lanes can also accommodate a variety of events, including birthday parties, fundraisers and corporate functions. Finally, serious bowlers will be pleased to know that there are both leagues and tournaments held at the alley.
