All Star Lanes is just minutes from downtown LA and suggests that it is the “place to be” in the city. While we feel there are other entertainment destinations in Los Angeles that might attract a little more attention from visitors, All Star Lanes certainly has all the necessary features to have a good time.
Cocktail Lounge and Restaurant
The alley’s cocktail lounge can comfortably hold over 100 people, and they have a fully stocked bar, a variety of appetizers, and even a candlelit ambiance. There’s even a karaoke bar on certain evenings.
Another option is The Red Dragon restaurant, which serves up a variety of Chinese favorites. Chef’s specials include Chef Pan Fried Noodle with shrimp, chicken and beef, West Lake Chicken and the signature Red Dragon Chicken served with a special hot sauce.
Rates and Hours
During open bowling times, bowlers most frequently purchase a lane by the hour, at $18/hour/lane on Monday through Thursday and $29/hour/lane on the weekends. The alley is also open until 2AM on Friday and Saturday nights, provided that the bowlers are in the building by midnight.
All Star Lanes also encourages events, both of the private birthday and corporate variety. They offer a variety of party packages.
As of 12/15/2010, there is a special for 25% off of a Birthday Party package including 2 hours of bowling, shoes, and food and drink.
All Star Lanes has earned a few honors from the local media as well, having been named #1 for Los Angeles Bowling on Mojopages Awards, as well as a Best of Award recipient from LA Weekly.
