Lucky Strike Boston is quite an impressive complete entertainment center. It spans three floors, including a full-service bar and nightclub called Tequila Rain on the first level, an upscale billiards facility named Jillian’s Billiards on the second, and the 25,000 square foot bowling alley as its centerpiece on the third floor.
It is well-known as a destination for company parties and other corporate outings, and it offers a variety of event packages, featuring private rooms and delicious buffet packages. With the capacity to accommodate up to 2,000 people, just about any type of function is doable.
The venue is also a destination for higher-profile gatherings, and its website includes a section for “celebrity sightings,” which features pictures of celebs at the alley, including Red Sox great David Ortiz and actor Mark Wahlberg.
Area bowler Jeff wrote to us to further elaborate on Lucky Strike Lanes:
Lucky Strike is one of those facilities that’s beyond any average bowling alley and is certainly not the one that hosted your childhood birthday party. Lucky Strike is a playground for young professionals and adults to have a classy night out and still unleash your competitive instincts amongst friends and coworkers.
In a way, Lucky Strike has transformed bowling into its rightful glory and has now become adopted by lovers, friends and business folk. Yes, even some now consider bowling to be the new golf for conducting business and corporate outings.
The best part of Lucky Strike is that it’s not only a high class bowling alley and swanky lounge with a bar, it’s also connected to Jillian’s which offers pool tables, ping pong and a full service restaurant. Did I mention that on top of that there is a nightclub called Tequila Rain on the bottom floor which host wild Friday and Saturday Night parties? Overall Lucky Strike has something to do for everyone and is an easy option for large groups of friends to get together and have a fun night out.
